Heading into the third quarter of Scientific Visualization, we now start to learn about new programs used to create images. The application we are now working in is Adobe Illustrator, an app used to create professional digital drawings.
Adobe Illustrator a vector graphics editor, is great for making images that have to be resized constantly without losing its quality.A wide range of artist favor this software because of it's all features that make it easy to make special shapes and create a whole picture out of them. My first experience with Illustrator was easy, seeing as I've already had messed around with the mobile version and had a moderate understanding of Photoshop's tools jumping into Illustrator was simple. The way it was set up is almost the same as Photoshop's interface and some of the tools were similar. There was this one tool that was new that we played around with which allowed you to change the shape completely and another where you could type words around the shape you make. The next day there was an assignment to make a pizza using shapes to get a feel for the software. Though there were few days that we worked on illustrator, I can tell that this editor has a lot more in store for us.
