Thinking about it now the things that I will take away most from this class it the 3D modeling process and how it works because of the that's the field I want to go into, overall most of the things we learned has to be thought about because of the thoroughness that we went through completing the assignments and making things. The thing is also there's much more to sample and different ways to do things because of the creativity that goes into modeling with software that essentially tells you the sky is the limit. When creating things in this class it provides a feeling of having divine power to make something out of simple shapes, that feeling alone is great, but when something comes together, something that you've been working on for a while, it makes you feel as if you could do anything at that moment. Completing big assignments in this class is the most rewarding thing because I tend to work slowly and get detracted a lot so its a big boost in motivation to get something done and move to the next new thing. An important thing to remember though is our first unit and on how to show professionalism and present yourself. That's something really important that you have to carry with yourself all through your life or else you won't be successful at all. And knowing how to rig and animate will provide me with learning support when doing it on my own since the items learned in class are essentially the very basics of what you can use in 3ds Max. There are always ways to find out new things and that's the thrill of it. And the camera techniques learned I can apply to real life too since I'm planning on getting a DSLR camera soon so I'll know how to composite my shots and what exposure, aperture, shutter speed and iso is.

Taking a second to think here, the youtubers that we love and watch, are they showing their true self's or is it a facade to convey persona to a certain audience. In short are we seeing the true person when we watch their videos? Is it the public pressure to make certain videos based on the popular thing at the moment. Is there a different way that they act from real life. I feel as if that most youtubers don't really show their true self's, that being the reason why i stopped watching a lot of the channels that i used to watch because i felt like there was a barrier that is translucent, so you get the small feeling of uneasiness when watching. Only a few youtubers that I watch now, I feel, are true and real. The real ones are the ones i feel are actually worth wasting my time to watch.
Yet another title in the battle royale series that has made it into the category, and another title to be hyped up and played by millions of people on the first week. This game was secretly released to the public with trailers coming out only 24 hours before its launch and people rushed to get into the action. This game has the overall same game style as any other battle royale game, be the last person standing in a continuous battle against other players on a remote island. The game at the moment only allows you to play with two other people but possibly in the near future other modes will be available. The game also features 8 characters that all have their own tactics and edge to get ahead during battle if executed properly. With a range of weapons in your arsenal and the ability to hold two primaries, killing others has never been easier. There's also a random pack system and an in-game store to get special skins. There are a few things inside the game that sets this game apart from other games such as; no fall damage whatsoever, zip lines and hot air balloons to get you places faster through the air, a launch from the ship in groups instead of separately and most importantly res pawing after death. This makes this game more attractive to people then Fortnite and PUBG.
Switching over to a new unit, we are now working mainly on applying textures to objects and working with shaders and how they look in rendered image. So far the process has been smooth considering that the first assignments were relatively simple, like applying shaders to a train station or taking a box and using real world images to make a virtual version and making sure all the sides line up together. There hasn't been anything to difficult, although making sure to replicate a 3D object from a 2D picture using its vertices are quite time consuming and tedious. Thinking about it though, i do have a side project on hand at the moment where downloaded a character from the game Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege 3D model, but the only thing is that the textures are not automatically applied to it, so it is up to me to apply them which fortunately correlates to the unit on. I would say though that figuring out how to unwrap the model will be a challenge considering that there are many poly's and there are no simple edges to grab. I am however, excited to work with the self assignment and figure out the techniques needed to apply the textures on this model so that it can look like my favorite operator from my favorite game ever made in existence. I cant wait to see what we have to work on in the future.
Over the past month we have been in the same unit, using 3D simulations, particle systems and forces in our projects that give an effect to the objects in the scene when an animation is made. This unit would by far come to have one of my favorite tools in the application, Simulations. Simulations are the imitations of real life properties when applied in 3ds Max and there are 3 of them that i have used so far which is the Cloth and Daylight systems and MassFX, which all have their own thing that they do to make your scene a little more realistic. The reason why these are my favorite is because of my interest to animate myself, seeing as this effects the environment adds to the creative mind when thinking about how to make things like they are in real life, for instance, if your character had a cape and was tuning in your animations, a simple cloth system and wind force will make that happen, maybe even on the clothes can you add this tool. When thinking about the unit i realize that this may only be the tip of the iceberg, that when new assignments come, that will require us to use all of them in one scene using anything we'd like would be cool. I already have a project in mind that i would want to make, imagine Darth Vader walking in the desert, having the day cycle and have wind going through his cape, his hand curling up into a fist and having an aura around it dematerialize and have small particles fall down to the floor as it uncurls.
